Two New Features: QR Codes on Flyers & YouTube for Agents

We've got two new features for you, served up hot and fresh. Both have been requested a number of times by agents and TAPs alike.

The first one is QR Codes on the flyers. When you build a flyer now, while selecting a photo, at the bottom of list are two new options. The first one is a QR code for the tour, and the second new option is a QR code for the agent's inventory page. You will no longer have to download, expand, convert and upload QR codes to use them on flyers.

The second new option is YouTube for agents. In any agent's account, under the Profile menu, is a new screen titled "Social Media". On that screen, the agent can now establish an auto-feeding connection between their TourFactory account and their YouTube Channel. Once that is setup, we will populate the channel with all of the tour videos from an agent's TourFactory account, and will keep them up to date.

Soon will be able to change direction of how photos are displayed and how long they will be displayed. For example, a photo of a staircase, can be set to move in the direction of either going up or down the stairs. Some photos may only need a second or two of exposure, such as 4 of the 5 bdrms, Still giving exposure to the bedrooms, but decreasing the time of the tour length. Tourfactory keeps coming out with new enhancements and marketing tools

When walking around the exterior of a home or through the interior what is it you see in the windows and mirrors. They are little treasures. A reflection, one more step and its gone! Windows and Mirrors are like “moments in time” active slide shows. In this photo you see a reflection in a bedroom mirror of a Victorian style window and where the owner of the home maybe resting. The next two photos are outside door reflections as one is ready to go inside. For a split second you enjoy the pleasure of the view one more time. As you move it's gone! With a mirror in the right spot, or positioning outside chairs and table correctly, the home visitor almost subconsciously enjoys these little treasures.

What are they?
Maybe I should first state what they are not. In general they are not a wide shot of a room, nor a pan of multiple rooms. Those type of photos provide a necessary understanding of the general floor plan, but do little to evoke emotion. If the “wide” type shot is used properly in the virtual tour, it can set a desire to see the area in more detail. An example is a “pan” of the family, dining, kitchen area, followed by a still of the family area, then followed with a closeup of the fireplace with a chair in the foreground. This gives the viewer the opportunity to see the floor plan, an idea of the size and shape of the family room, and them sitting next to the fireplace on a chilly day or evening. The fireplace photograph is to stimulate the viewer “buyer” to sense the feeling of sitting next to the fireplace in the Family room. A warm,peaceful,relaxing moment.

This was a good day for boaters and fisher folks, alike. Temperature reached 94 degrees. Glori and I mostly did some gardening and landscaping. If taking down a hill is landscaping, then that is what we did. At the same time we kept Jason's dog Kolby John busy, with fetching sticks from the water. He spent hours in the water until we finally forced him to take a break and rest. We needed a break too.

If there was any group showing and attitude to perform well and provide great athletic ability and entertainment it was those the performed during intermission. As for the professional basketball players, they didn't earn my vote to be called professionals(aka Timberwolves). The Timberwolves should start paying folks to watch them. Why would anyone use their life's valuable time to watch such poor performance and athletic ability is beyond my understanding. (Glad I left early from watching the game) If you want to watch exciting good baskeball, my suggestion is watch some high school BB. Costs a lot less and they seem to care a whole lot more than anyone associated with the T-wolves.
